Line Cook

*Job Overview*
We are seeking for multiple dedicated and skilled Appetizer Line Cook to join our culinary team. As an Appetizer Line Cook, the main tasks is to have well multi-task and time-management skills when handling and making food items down the line. This position requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They take pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and running smoothly. This person is a team player who communicates well with cooks and other staff, follows safety and sanitation procedures, making sure all plates are separated and then put back after cleaned, and maintains a positive attitude during busy shifts.

*Responsibilities*

* Assist in the preparation of ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
* Prepare dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards while maintaining health code
* Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
* Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and labeling to minimize waste.
* Work efficiently during high-volume service periods and under pressure.

*Skills*

* Previous experience as a line cook preferred (experience in Japanese cuisine or ramen is a plus)
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations.
* Familiarity with fast-paced environment
* Excellent knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods.
* Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual accountability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 50 per week
