Account Executive, Ad Sales

Ad Sales Executive

PayPal is seeking an experienced Ad Sales Executive to drive growth in our expanding Ads business. This role focuses on maximizing revenue generation through prospecting, new customer acquisition, and existing customer expansion, targeting a vertically aligned book of business. You'll utilize your deep experience in digital advertising, commerce media, or retail media to secure opportunities for enterprise brands to leverage PayPal's data and media offerings across our onsite and offsite platforms. We are looking for high-performing individuals with a proven track record of launching and growing ad platforms, including experience supporting both owned and operated and programmatic advertising programs.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead client strategy and manage high-value accounts
• Oversee and coach junior sales team members
• Drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution
• Partner closely with internal teams to align solutions with client needs
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Leverage ad platforms and attribution tools to measure ROI and advise on optimization

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience prospecting and closing new business, not just managing existing accounts.
• Strong background in programmatic advertising (DSPs, PMPs, SSPs) with hands-on experience across programmatic buying platforms and media trading desks preferred.
• Deep familiarity with sales tools (LinkedIn Navigator, Salesforce, Winmo, SellerCrowd, etc.) and CRM systems facilitating pipeline management and reporting.
• Ability to interpret business and media performance metrics to inform a sales pitch.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions across all levels of an organization.
