About the Job Occupational Therapist (OTR) - School-Based | Kent, WA | Up to $65/hr | Up to $2,250/Week. Help students thrive while enjoying a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. AB Staffing Solutions is hiring Occupational Therapists (OTRs) for multiple school-based openings with Kent School District for the 2026-2027 school year . With openings across elementary, middle, and high schools, this is an excellent opportunity whether you're an experienced school OT or looking to transition into pediatrics. Pay & Schedule:
- Up to $65/hour.
- Up to $2,250 gross per week.
- Monday-Friday schedule.
- No nights or weekends.
- School holidays and breaks off.
- Full-time contract.
- Evaluate students with fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist with IEP implementation and documentation.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License.
- NBCOT (OTR) Certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- School-based or pediatric experience.
- Knowledge of IEPs and educational settings.
- Experience with sensory integration and assistive technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Consistent weekday schedule.
