Aspenwood Residential Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and qualified House Manager to join our growing team. Minimum Qualifications

1. Employee must be at least 18 years of age
2. Employee must have High School Diploma or GED or experience/ability to provide services according to a plan of service
3. Employee must be able to pass a background check with the department of health and welfare
4. Employee must have a working cell phone
5. Employee must have basic Technology/computer skills
6. Employee must have valid Drivers License and Vehicle Insurance maintained in personal file
7. Must have reliable transportation and transport clients in own vehicle as required per client specifications
8. Employee must maintain a valid CPR, 1st aid, & AED certificate for adults
9. Employee must obtain a Assistance with Medication Certificate
10. Employee must have at least 1 year experience with the mentally and physically disabled population

Preferred Qualifications

1. Employee will have 6 months experience in a supervisor role

Basic Job Requirements and Responsibilities

1. Employee will work with participant on Daily Living Skills (Cooking, Cleaning, Time management, money management, hygiene, social skills, etc.)
   a. Will help/assist client in cooking food according to meal plan
   b. Will help/assist client in keeping personal and shared living spaces clean, healthy, and safe
   c. Will help/assist client manage appointments and social events and get to them in a timely manner
   d. Will help/assist client in following monthly and weekly budget
   e. Will help/assist client in taking showers, shaving, deodorant, teeth brushing, and all other personal hygiene
   f. Will help/assist the clients in creating and maintaining relationships
2. Employee will transport clients to all appointments (When Scheduled) and social outings (at least once per shift) in their own vehicle (as long as you are approved by office to drive).
3. Employee will provide safe and continuous support in the home or community by maintaining arm’s length/line of sight/awake and alert posture and provisions throughout any shift
4. Employee will provide recreation and leisure activities, teach functional communication, implement approved behavior plans, and achieve increased independence, productivity, and inclusion in the community
5. Employee will complete data on a daily basis in line with the expectations of the team, ensure proper completion of Client times, ADL’S, goals/support strategies, and MARS

House Manager Job Requirements & Responsibilities

1. On Call 24/7 for your specific house (Unless you are on PTO in which you will ask another house manager to cover your house) for
   a. Behaviors
   b. Injury or Illness
   c. Scheduling issues
   d. House questions
2. Help assist client with creating and sticking to a budget
3. Help assist clients with creating and sticking to a meal plan
4. Work closely with the DSP’s in your house to ensure clients are receiving solid around the clock care
5. Assist Clients with the development of independent living skills
6. Facilitate House Meetings monthly
7. Provide DSP’s with ongoing training regarding resident behavior as well as procedures
8. Provide Management of the home, upkeep, schedule repairs, grocery shopping, keeping inventory of household supplies, documenting and remediating safety issues
9. Enforce House rules including assignments of household chores to clients and staff
10. Provide Crisis Intervention and mediation if necessary
11. Monitoring staff and ensuring they are completing all daily charting (If there is missing charting contact the staff to complete within 24 hours)
12. Assisting the scheduler in finding coverage as needed when situations arise as your assigned location
13. Completing Weekly Med Drawer Checks
14. Managing all medication and Narcotics in the house
15. Any and all other duties as assigned or directed
16. Cover shifts personally if coverage cannot be found
