We are an inclusive team of unique individuals who show up each day with a grateful spirit, humble heart, and a genuine respect for one another.**Location: Clear Creek Golf Club, Pearland, TX**Overview: Partner with the Superintendent to direct and coordinate golf course maintenance activities such as maintaining quality course condition quality; selecting, developing, and retaining employees; and exceeding guest expectations.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and agronomic operations, ensuring cost control and efficient utilization of resources.* Provides advice and coordination with the Golf Course Superintendent on any issues related to golf course maintenance.* Direct and actively participate in the construction and maintenance of the grounds, ensuring they are well-maintained and visually appealing.* Administer and enforce rules, regulations, and policies for staff members, including members and guests, to ensure a harmonious and professional environment.* Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to maintain fiscal responsibility and professionalism in all maintenance operations.* Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff members, while maintaining accurate training and performance records.* Ensure the proper functioning of irrigation systems, overseeing repairs and irrigation duties to maintain course standards.* Oversee and perform general maintenance tasks such as mowing, raking, blowing, mulching, sod work, aerification, and course set-up.* Assist in special projects and undertake any additional duties as assigned by management.**Qualifications:*** A minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or a related field.* Solid knowledge of turfgrass management principles, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.* Experience operating and maintaining golf course maintenance equipment.* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.* A degree or certification in turfgrass management or a related field is preferred but not required.This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work in a beautiful and prestigious golf course environment!
