BAS Controls Technician

We are hiring an experienced BAS Controls Technician to support commercial and mission-critical building automation projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a strong field technician who can independently troubleshoot, program, commission, and service HVAC control systems in large commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities Install, startup, commission, and troubleshoot BAS/DDC systems Program and modify controllers, graphics, trends, and alarms Perform point-to-point checkout and system diagnostics Read and interpret wiring diagrams, sequences of operation, and mechanical drawings Service HVAC equipment including: AHUs VAVs Boilers Pumps VFDs Configure and troubleshoot BACnet, Modbus, and network communications Support retrofit and new construction projects Provide technical support to customers and project teams Complete service documentation and reports Requirements 3+ years of BAS/DDC or HVAC controls experience Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills Experience with one or more of the following: Johnson Controls Metasys Honeywell Distech Automated Logic Alerton Understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Electrical or HVAC trade background Experience with data centers, hospitals, or large commercial facilities Strong networking and integration knowledge $90K–$120K depending on experience Company vehicle & gas card Overtime opportunities 401(k) with company match PTO & paid holidays Laptop and phone provided Apply If you are a skilled BAS Controls Technician looking for long-term growth, advanced projects, and strong compensation in the Dallas market, we’d like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
