About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Med-Surg department at Wagoner Community Hospital plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves monitoring patients' health status, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities to ensure optimal recovery. The LPN will collaborate closely with registered nurses and physicians to implement care plans and provide support to patients and their families. Additionally, the LPN will maintain accurate patient records and contribute to a safe and efficient healthcare environment. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Med-Surg setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
