Production Scheduler The Production Scheduler will Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for production and processing services ensuring alignment with program milestones and on-time deliveries. Responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed production schedules across the EVA (Extravehicular Activity) program. Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership. Serve as the planning focal for program hardware builds, from procurement through delivery. Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Coordinate with department supervisors to monitor production progress and completion dates. Own capacity planning, make/buy decisions, and scenario modeling to inform critical path strategies. Collaborate with leadership to optimize build sequencing and resource allocation. Track production KPIs, generate dashboards, and deliver planning insights. Analyze production data to optimize lead times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Mentor junior team members and support their professional development. Perform additional job duties as assigned. Required Education/Experience/Skills Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a field or in a related area. Experience in manufacturing, assembly and testing of critical hardware. Ten (10) years of production planning or project management experience using Microsoft Project, preferably in the aerospace field. Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed scheduling decisions. Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail. Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high-quality results. Preferences A resilient and proactive approach to problem solving. Passion for space and the mission. Essential Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation. Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb. Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary. Generally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.) Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
