Production Technician - Night Shift

iNc EMPIRE, LLC is seeking a Production Technician for a Night Shift position in Branford, CT.

Direct Hire Position

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay: $21/hr-$23/hr (based on experience)

What will you get to do in this role?

• Blending raw material per formula and record inventory usages in database; notifying Operators of any blending and/or equipment issues.
• Cleaning all blending equipment.
• Removing film rolls from winder, labelling and packaging rolls and preparing skids for shipping.
• Entering production-related data into the manufacturing database.
• Assisting in start-up and changeovers of blown-film line.
• Assisting in the cleaning and assembling of dies and air rings.
• Performing and recording preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Performing in-process inspections visually and/or utilizing measuring tools.
• Reporting non-conformances to the Operators and working with them to resolve the cause(s) of the defect(s).
• Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment around all work areas and equipment.
• Safely operating all manufacturing machinery and equipment, inspection tools and material handling equipment; and reporting any issues to supervisors.

What experience do you need to qualify?

• Minimum of 1 year of Manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
