Personal Trainer

Gloucester, Virginia Overview The Personal Trainer will provide members and non-members with an exercise prescription in a friendly, motivating, and professional manner. Will conduct sessions in a safe environment. The personal trainer maintains supervision of clients throughout session. What you will do Trainer is genuinely friendly and concerned for the client’s well-being. He/she interacts positively with clients before, during or after sessions and uses their name when appropriate. Trainer teaches safe and effective sessions. The trainer refrains from using contraindicated movements and shows modifications throughout the session. Trainer is prepared to teach and maintains a level of fitness appropriate to demonstrate exercises. Trainer maintains current CPR certification and is knowledgeable about emergency response chain. CBL’s are complete. Instructor maintains national personal training certification. Trainer is able to handle customer relation issues in a professional manner while not getting personally involved. The Trainer relays all information to manager or MOD and completes appropriate documentation. Trainer attends bi‑monthly staff meetings.
