**Per Diem** Neonatologist Opportunity in Austin, TX - Apply Today! We are seeking a board certified Neonatologist to join our practice in Austin, Texas on a per diem basis. Our expanding team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners work collaboratively to provide exceptional care for neonates in the St. David’s Healthcare System. Practice Sites St. David’s Medical Center, a 65-bed, Level-IV unit with neonatal surgical services and a newborn delivery service of approximately 4,300 per year St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas, a 57-bed, Level-III unit, expanding to 80 beds, with a newborn delivery service of approximately 8,000 per year St. David's North Austin Medical Center, a Level-III NICU with advanced imaging procedures and pediatric medical sub-specialties St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, a 12-bed, Level-II unit with in-house NNP coverage of NICU and normal newborn services St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, a 10-bed, Level-II NICU with in-house NNP coverage of NICU and normal newborn services St. David's Georgetown Hospital, a Level-I NICU Medical services provided by our practice include HFOV, nitric oxide and total body cooling A strong MFM program and pediatric sub-specialties support our NICUs Austin, TX is a vibrant and rapidly growing city known for its tech-driven economy, creative culture, and high quality of life. Qualifications Active TX license or IMLC license preferred Board Certification in Neonatology required A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months) We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position. Travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) are covered for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
