Experienced Maintenance Mechanic Wanted

Maintenance Technician (12-Hour Shift) Job Purpose We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on manufacturing, packaging, conveying, and facilities equipment. You will handle component-level repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.

Shift Schedule (2-Week Rotation)

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (5pm/6pm – 5:30am/6:30am)

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Key Attributes:

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.

• Ability to work independently during the night shift while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

• Commitment to full attendance during the mandatory 7-week onboarding window.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the “Sika SAFE” program
• Execute work orders & PMs; troubleshoot as needed
• Process equipment includes mixers, piping systems, valves, pumps, instrumentation & controls
• Packaging equipment includes conveyors, fillers, palletizers, robotics, and material handling
• Facilities & other equipment includes fork trucks, dock equipment, HVAC, overhead-doors, and plumbing
• Primary desired skills include mechanical, pipe fitting, basic electrical, and welding and/or minor fabrication

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 11 hours at one time
• working weekends
