Discover a meaningful part-time opportunity supporting students' well-being and success for the upcoming school year! This contract position is perfect for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking to make a difference with a flexible, two-day-per-week schedule from August 24th through June 2nd.
You'll collaborate closely with a supportive team of five case managers, serving a caseload of approximately 80 students. Your expertise in cognitive evaluation testing and summary reporting will help inform educational planning and interventions, ensuring every child's unique needs are recognized and addressed.
What we're looking for:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state and national credentials preferred)
- Experience with cognitive evaluation tools and psychoeducational assessment
- Ability to produce clear, thorough reports and recommendations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with case managers, educators, and families
- Organizational skills to manage a varied caseload and meet timelines
- Motivated to create a supportive, inclusive school environment
What you'll do:
- Conduct cognitive evaluations and write concise, impactful reports
- Participate in team meetings, contributing insights to help guide student support plans
- Consult with case managers, teachers, and parents to share findings and recommendations
- Collaborate on interventions to help students thrive academically and socially
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and best practices
