As an Industrial Maintenance Lead , you will be responsible for performing general and preventative maintenance work on production machinery, boiler/steam, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, and plumbing systems with an emphasis on industrial electrical controls. You will also help provide direction for maintenance technicians, be responsible for stocking spare parts, and assist with PM planning.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

·        Ensure that equipment and facility infrastructure runs optimally with minimal downtime.

\n

·        Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility infrastructure when it fails to operate.

\n

·        Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems including control panels, motors, VFDs, PLCs (basic troubleshooting), sensors, relays, and switches.

\n

·        Respond to major/urgent equipment breakdowns.

\n

·        Perform preventative maintenance duties, and assist with PM planning.

\n

·        Install new equipment and relocate existing equipment. Assist in removing old equipment.

\n

·        Help improve and document maintenance procedures.

\n

·        Help provide direction for maintenance technicians, using best practices.

\n

·        Help train staff in equipment operating and maintenance procedures.

\n

·        Help coordinate repair work with outside service providers.

\n

·        Help coordinate purchase of repair parts and other supplies as necessary.

\n

·        Special projects as assigned.

\n

Education & Experience:

\n

·        Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.

\n

·        2+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.

\n

·        Forklift license, or ability to obtain one.

\n

Knowledge, Skills & Values:

\n

·        Committed to safety. Knowledge of OSHA requirements is desirable.

\n

·        Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including industrial controls. PLC experience preferred.

\n

·        Excellent troubleshooting skills .

\n

·        Ability to read/analyze/interpret technical documents, drawings, and schematics.

\n

·        Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred.

\n

·        Proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) .

\n

·        Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.

\n

·        Excellent communication skills.

\n

·        Strong sense of urgency.

\n
