Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU
Location: Miami, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU/PICU to provide respiratory care for patients with respiratory diseases. The role involves utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery methods while ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases.
- Utilize equipment such as High Flow Devices, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, and Heliox.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Document all care provided using the Meditech system.
- Adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment and provide coverage for adult floors as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
- Current NICU/PICU experience is essential.
- Previous experience with Meditech is preferred.
