Lead Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Owning the execution layer of Hologram's accounting function, the full-time Lead Accountant will manage the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and revenue recognition support under ASC 606 while working remotely. Key responsibilities Run the monthly close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and GAAP financial statements Own the compliance calendar and manage corporate compliance tasks, including state and local tax notices Oversee collections and accounts receivable, generating customer invoices and managing billing schedules Required qualifications 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle month-end close ownership Strong understanding of GAAP, including hands-on experience in revenue recognition and multi-state compliance Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, building processes from the ground up Revenue recognition experience (ASC 606) in a usage-based or multi-element billing environment Advanced Excel skills and comfort with learning new systems quickly
