Description

Convergint is looking for a full‑time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward‑thinking Director, Northeast Financial Vertical to join our amazing culture. In this role, the Director, Northeast Financial Vertical is responsible for developing and executing Convergint's go‑to‑market strategy for the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Asset Management, Payments, and FinTech markets across the Northeast United States.

This leader will drive global & enterprise growth by developing executive relationships, expanding strategic accounts, increasing recurring revenue, and collaborating with Global Accounts, regional CTCs, and Vertical SMEs. The Director will serve as the executive sponsor for the Northeast Financial Vertical and lead initiatives that position Convergint as the preferred technology integration partner for financial institutions.

Strategic Business Development

Develop and execute the Northeast Financial Vertical growth strategy.

Build a multi‑year pipeline focused on:

Regional banks

Insurance companies

Asset managers

Revenue Growth

Own annual financial targets, including:

Revenue growth

Gross margin

Existing account expansion

Managed services growth

Enterprise agreements

Collaborate with the Regional GA Director, Enterprise Leaders, and CTC Leaders to:

Execute strategic account plans.

Coach major opportunities.

Drive value‑based selling.

Market Development

SIFMA

FS-ISAC

ASIS

ISC East

Executive security forums

Financial industry conferences

Develop and lead:

Executive briefings

Thought leadership events

Strategic Partnerships

Develop executive‑level relationships with:

General Contractors

Architects & Engineers

Security Consultants

OEM Partners

Industry Associations

Drive preferred partner status for major construction and modernization programs.

Cross‑Functional Leadership & Global Account Partnership

Partner closely with:

Ensure consistent execution and alignment across Northeast CTCs.

What You’ll Need

Strategic Business Development

Develop and execute the Northeast Financial Vertical growth strategy.

Build a multi‑year pipeline focused on Tier 1 financial institutions, regional banks, insurers, asset managers, and payment companies.

• Drive strategic account planning for the Top 100 financial institutions in the Northeast.

Develop executive relationships with:

Chief Security Officers (CSOs)

Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• 15+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience.
• 10+ years within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Enterprise Security.
• Proven success managing multi‑million‑dollar enterprise accounts.
• Demonstrated executive relationships within the Northeast financial sector.
• Experience selling complex integrated technology solutions.

Preferred

Experience with:

• Cloud Security Platforms
