Surgical Tech / OR Tech II

Role Overview The OR Tech II collaborates with perioperative nurses to organize and deliver individualized, age‑specific patient care in the operating room, ensuring safe outcomes and proper physiological responses during surgery. Responsibilities Assist in preparing the surgical environment and equipment Maintain sterile techniques and assist with surgical procedures across various service lines, including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, and trauma cases Ensure patient safety and monitor physiological responses throughout the perioperative process Communicate effectively with team members and other departments Work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Surgical Technician training program 2-3 years of relevant experience Proficiency in scrubbing for a variety of complex surgical cases Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, be flexible, and work independently Certifications & Licenses Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) Key Skills Strong technical knowledge of surgical procedures Effective communication and teamwork Ability to handle fast‑paced, complex situations Flexibility and independence in work tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
