Together, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and help improve the experience and outcomes for every patient we serve.Overview: Certified Medical AssistantPosition Highlights:NapervilleDermatologyPosition Highlights:Full-Time; 40 hours/weekHours: Monday - Thursday: hours will vary between 6:15am-7:15pm; Friday: 7:15am - 12:30pmLocation: Naperville - City Gate clinicTravel: Travel to other sites for coverage as neededBenefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.Employer provided life and disability insurance.Immediate 401(k) match.40 hours paid volunteer time off.A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members.Responsibilities:Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health historyProvide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid proceduresCertified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injectionsAssist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filingConduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy testsMaintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visitsProvide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE valuesSome travel to assist other local clinics may be requiredQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience requiredSeveral of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following:American Medical Technologists (AMT)National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)National Healthcareer Association (NHA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire requiredMay require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hirePrior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient careThe compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
