Overview Join to apply for the Technician Fiber Installation role at North Sky Communications . At North Sky Communications, LLC, as a Technician Fiber Installation, you’ll set up and maintain fiber optic networks to connect people. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, fix problems, and keep us connected without interruptions. What You’ll Do Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services according to guidelines Install, set up and configure all equipment Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement Educate the customer regarding product and service usage Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed Perform work in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned What You’ll Need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience Valid State driver’s license (not provisional), including an acceptable driving record Physical Abilities & Exposures Routinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, work with arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse Compensation The wage range for Technician Fiber Installation is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
