Temp Parttime Faculty - Accounting

Position Summary The Anderson School of Management's Department of Accounting at the University of New Mexico anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Spring 2026 and/or Summer 2026 semesters. Departmental needs at this time may be best served by the hiring of temporary part‑time faculty whose specialties are in the areas of Accounting, Tax, Auditing, and other courses within undergraduate and graduate programs. Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to the Department Chairperson. Wages Adjunct Faculty at Anderson School of Management are currently compensated on the basis of their credentials and credit hour course loads. The typical pay rate for new Adjunct Faculty ranges between $4,919.91 and $6,979.91 per 3‑credit hour course. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a field related to the area of the teaching assignment or Certified Public Accountant Certification Preferred Qualifications Experience/expertise in related field evidenced in cover letter and resume Evidence of teaching experience in resume MBA or Ph.D. in relevant field A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
