We're looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Byram Township, NJ area. About the Position of Automotive Mechanic Inspect, diagnose and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Under‑car repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks. Complete state‑mandated inspections. Change oil and filters, check fluids and replace worn parts. Dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires. Legally authorized to work in the United States. 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent education, training and experience. Extensive toolbox of personal tools for under‑car repairs. Preferred Qualifications State inspection license(s). ASE Certifications: Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5). Physical requirements: required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair.
