Occupational Therapy Assistant

Role & Responsibilities: Supervise and support Occupational Therapy services by planning and implementing treatment programs for patients from neonatal to geriatric within an interdisciplinary team framework. Supervises positions such as students, volunteers, and observers. Assist with patient care, adapt treatments to individual needs, and ensure adherence to established practices and principles. Qualifications & Skills: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Strong physical strength, mobility, and stamina to handle physical activities, assist patients, and adapt to irregular hours. Capable of lifting loads up to 50 pounds, making frequent location and position changes, and wearing protective equipment. Excellent sight and hearing with assistance if needed. Ability to handle exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, and emergency situations. Key Duties: Develop and execute individualized therapy plans for a diverse patient population. Supervise and coordinate with students, volunteers, and observers. Ensure safety and compliance with health standards.
