- Modern, purpose-built specialty and emergency hospital offering Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging.
- Multiple surgical suites, a dedicated intensive care unit with continuous monitoring and long-term ventilation, a step-down unit, separate GI and respiratory isolation wards, a large treatment area, on-site laboratory, and an internal pharmacy.
- Advanced on-site diagnostics, including CT, MRI, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and ultrasonography, with image-guided procedures and outpatient ultrasound services.
- Minimally invasive and open surgical capabilities, with endoscopy and laparoscopy/arthroscopy supporting a wide range of procedures and interdisciplinary case management.
- Teamed by board-certified specialists, emergency clinicians, and experienced licensed veterinary technicians in a highly collaborative, teaching-oriented setting.

- Provide specialty neurology consultations and manage inpatient and outpatient neurologic cases.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans, coordinating closely with Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging teams.
- Utilize on-site CT, MRI, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and ultrasonography to guide case workups.
- Lead and participate in clinical rounds, mentor interns and technicians, and contribute to a positive, teaching-focused culture.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based protocols; participate in referring veterinarian outreach as needed.
- Daytime specialty service with coordinated handoffs to the emergency team; specific scheduling details reviewed during the interview. Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Neurology
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Nebraska
