OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Dayton, OH by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD Trucking is hiring experienced OTR solo CDL-A dry van drivers to move dry‑van freight nationwide from the Dayton area. Expect long‑haul runs with strong mileage pay starting at 65 CPM and weekly mileages typically near 2,500.

Core responsibilities:

• Safely operate and inspect dry van tractor‑trailers on interstate and regional lanes.
• Secure cargo, complete required pre/post‑trip checks, and maintain accurate logs/Elogs.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet route schedules and customer delivery windows.

What you’ll receive & need:

• Late‑model tractors (under 3 years) with APU, inverter and sleeper plus in‑house maintenance support.
