Schedule

3 twelve-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, between 9 AM to 9 PM or 11 AM to 11 PM, with occasional 8 AM to 8 PM shifts. No call required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the PACU and Recovery Areas, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves monitoring patient recovery during both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery stages across various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs and manage complications as necessary.
• Assist in float between various recovery areas, including inpatient PACU, outpatient PACU, surgery center, and anesthesia clinic.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in PACU or recovery nursing preferred.
