Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2020 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:
- The unit provides telemetry and trauma care.
- Equipment includes EKG machines, code carts, Welch Allyn vital machines, vascular Doppler, wound vacs, and Carescape monitors for bedside rhythm monitoring when administering push medications such as metoprolol; Cultura Link interpreting services are available.
- Typical procedures include small I&Ds, peritoneal dialysis, and occasional thoracentesis.
