Physical Therapist (PT)

Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to work in a skilled nursing facility. We are currently offering a $7,000 sign-on bonus for this position.

PT requirements include:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current New York State PT License
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident's pain using exercises, hands-on therapy, and stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence and protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members
