Job DescriptionThe IT Engineer IV – Cloud Platform Solutions plays a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise cloud capabilities aligned to business and technology strategy. This role is responsible for leading cloud adoption, establishing standards, and enabling engineering teams through scalable platform solutions. This position also serves as a technical leader and subject matter expert, providing guidance across cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and platform engineering, while ensuring operational stability and performance. We achieve this by leveraging deep technical expertise and partnering closely with business and engineering teams to deliver modern, customer-centric platforms.How You'll Spend Your Time• Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture and platform strategy aligned to enterprise goals• Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across AWS and/or Azure environments• Drive cloud enablement through reusable infrastructure patterns, templates, and self-service capabilities• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated CI/CD pipelines to support modern DevOps practices • Establish and enforce cloud governance standards, including policy-as-code, security controls, and compliance frameworks• Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to support cloud migration strategies (rehost, refactor, replatform, rearchitect) • Implement and enhance observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and reliability engineering standards• Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices, including cloud usage analysis and efficiency improvements • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams across the organizationEducation & Experience RequirementsThis level of knowledge is typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and/or equivalent experience• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture roles • Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern application architectures • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) preferredBOK Financial Corporation Group is a stable and financially strong organization that provides excellent training and development to support building the long term careers of employees.
