Primary Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant -Fall River, MA (Accepting New Graduates)

Job Type: Full-Time | Part-Time Available
Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine
Schedule: 36-40 hours/week | 4 days/week
Days: Thursdays Off
Weekends/Nights: No nights or weekends
Part-Time: 2-3 days per week available

Position Overview

We are seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide outpatient care to adult and adolescent patients in a collaborative Family Medicine practice.

The provider will work under physician supervision while assuming patient-care responsibilities consistent with their experience, training, and clinical confidence.

Responsibilities

·         Provide primary care to adult and adolescent patients.

·         Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of primary care conditions.

·         Conduct patient assessments and follow-up visits.

·         Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.

·         Provide preventive care and patient education.

·         Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatments.

·         Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

·         Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

·         Utilize appropriate diagnostic and specialty resources as needed.

Qualifications

·         Current Massachusetts NP or PA license.

·         Valid DEA registration.

·         Valid Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR).

·         Primary care or Family Medicine experience preferred.

·         Fluency in Portuguese is required.
