About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience - Experience with HFNC and BIPAP - Competence in stable GTT management - Experience with post-operative care for CABG, AVR, and MVR - CV and vascular experience - Knowledge of AAA repair, lobectomy, and CEA - Experience in NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS management - Familiarity with pacemakers, sepsis, GIB, post-DKA, respiratory failure, and tracheostomies Description: This position is for a 30-bed step-down unit. Candidates should have experience floating between critical care services. The role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular and vascular conditions. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage various critical care scenarios. Experience with advanced respiratory support and monitoring is essential. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing post-operative patients effectively. This role emphasizes teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
