Certs required: BLS, RVT, ARDMS
Call requirement: 1-2 nights of call per week
Will rotate to outpatients as needed

Department: Radiology - U/S
Certification Requirements: BLS, ARDMS, RVT is a plus vascular a plus cardiac not needed
How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 4 two in outpatient, 2 in inpatient.
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Outpatient as necessary
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: OB/GYN, Abdomen, small parts, Carotid arteries, DVT studies, renal arteries, Para, Thora, biopsy
Average # of scans/studies per day: 10
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware): McKesson, Cerner, Vrad
Department Specific Equipment: Client L8 and L9
Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? no
Radiologist in-house? yes 8-5
Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): no
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Yes, rotate with core staff
Call or Standby requirement? 1-2 nights a week depending on rotation.
