Are you a safety-focused equipment operator looking for a stable, high-impact role? Yara’s 80,000 MT Stockton Dry Terminal provides direct deep-water access for vital agricultural imports along the San Joaquin River. We are seeking a dependable Facilities Operator - Forklift to join our close-knit, 9-person terminal team driving safe, efficient distribution.

• Equipment Operation: Safely unload, stack, and load fertilizer tote bags using high-capacity forklifts. Cross-train on pay-loader machinery and assist with vessel discharges.

• Shipping & Receiving: Weigh, record, and palletize bagged products. Coordinate directly with truck drivers for smooth loading/unloading while inspecting vehicles for safety compliance.

• System Tracking & Reporting: Utilize Yara’s SAP and ALS systems to manage inventory, generate receipt/shipment reports, and keep accurate operational logs.

• Site & Equipment Care: Conduct routine forklift maintenance, report equipment issues promptly, and keep warehouse grounds clean and safe.

• Safety Leadership: Rigorously follow HESQ guidelines, participate in safety training, and mentor team members in warehouse operations.

What We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a valid Forklift Certification.

• 3+ years of terminal, warehouse, or industrial material handling experience.

• Eligibility for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

• Physical stamina to work at heights (up to 150 ft.), lift 25–50 lbs. repetitively, wear PPE/respirators, and handle outdoor weather conditions.

• First Aid/CPR certification or pay-loader experience is a major plus!
