CNC OPERATOR

Location Plant 3 Main 4321 York Hwy, Gastonia, NC 28052, United States Position Overview The CNC Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role ensures efficient, accurate manufacturing while maintaining quality and safety standards. The position requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams to support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Machine Setup Prepare and set up CNC machines based on job requirements. Load and secure materials properly to ensure accurate machining. Operation Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure quality parts are produced. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain precision and efficiency. Quality Control Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards. Troubleshoot and rectify issues that may impact product quality. Maintenance Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning. Identify and report any machine malfunctions or irregularities. Documentation Maintain accurate records of machine settings, adjustments, and production quantities. Safety Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly. Collaboration Work closely with engineers, quality control personnel, and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma or relevant technical training. Previous experience as a CNC Operator preferred. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and precision. Preferred Skills Technical proficiency in CNC machine operation. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Strong organizational and communication skills.
