Pay: $20.00 $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday Friday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM Overtime: Available and scheduled as needed Join an Established Precision Metal Stamping Manufacturer

We are seeking an experienced Drill Press Operator to join our first shift production team. This position is ideal for someone with experience machining and finishing precision metal components in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating drill presses, performing precision machining operations, and using quality measuring equipment to ensure parts meet customer specifications. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Drill Press and Pemserter machines
• Perform machining operations including:
• Countersinking
• Counterboring
• Threading/Tapping
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Use precision measuring equipment including:
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Gauges
• Verify dimensions and inspect parts throughout production to ensure they meet customer specifications
• Complete first-piece inspections and work closely with the Quality Department to have parts approved before beginning the full production run
• Operate both wet and dry sanding machines to properly finish fabricated components
• Perform routine machine adjustments and maintain equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company quality standards and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Drill Press in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is required
• Experience operating Pemserter machines is highly preferred
• Experience performing countersinking, counterboring, and threading/tapping operations
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Proficient using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience working in a metal stamping or fabrication environment is preferred
• Welding experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience operating wet and dry sanding machines is a plus
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
