Position Overview In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting the construction, mechanical, and industrial projects that help power the wind energy industry. We’ll help you become proficient in the products and services Beitzel Corporation offers, while providing hands-on training and opportunities to expand your knowledge. Flexibility is key in this role, as the position requires travel and out-of-town work, with the possibility of working extended hours, weekends, holidays, and occasionally night shifts. What You'll Do Assist in the installation of wind turbines, including the assembly of components such as blades, nacelles, and towers Perform routine maintenance to ensure the turbines are operating efficiently to include lubrication, filter changes, and checking for wear and tear on components Conduct regular inspections of wind turbines to identify any potential issues. This includes visual inspections and the use of diagnostic tools to check for mechanical and electrical problems Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with wind turbines. This involves interpreting error codes, using specialized tools and software, and following technical manuals to pinpoint problems.
