Overview

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and Farsi-speaking companion caregiver to spend time with an older woman undergoing cancer treatment. The role is primarily daytime companionship and support , helping her stay engaged, comfortable, and in good spirits.

This is not a clinical or intensive care role . It’s about being present, thoughtful, and supportive.

What You’ll Do

• Spend quality time together talking, watching TV, or simply keeping her company
• Take her out for short outings (walks, coffee, errands, fresh air)
• Provide light assistance with daily activities if needed
• Encourage eating, hydration, and general well-being
• Keep an eye on how she’s feeling and communicate anything notable to the family
• Help create a calm, positive, and uplifting environment

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent in Persian (Farsi) and conversational English
• Warm, patient, and emotionally intuitive
• Reliable and consistent
• Prior caregiving or companion experience is helpful but not required
• Comfortable driving locally

Additional Notes

• This is a low-pressure, respectful home environment
• No heavy medical responsibilities
• Ideal for someone who enjoys caregiving and building genuine connection
