Full Service Real Estate Development Company seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join their team!

*Portfolio and office located in the South Bronx

*60% in office, 40% site visits (All very close to eachother)

Residential, Commercial & Industrial Real Estate | Bronx, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- oversee diverse NYC real estate portfolio--majority of properties in the South Bronx

comprising approximately 1,300 residential apartments, including rent-stabilized and market-rate units, and approximately1 million square feet of commercial and industrial space, primarily in the South Bronx. The portfolio includesnonprofit-occupied properties, flex industrial, warehouse and artist spaces.

• Lead the management transition of an approximately 300-unit residential building while retaining and supervising the existing on-site team.

• Oversee operations at assigned large and complex residential, commercial and industrial properties, with opportunitiesfor broader portfolio responsibility.

• Manage rent-stabilization compliance, lease renewals, DHCR registrations, rent records and related documentation.

• Oversee loan compliance and lender reporting, including tracking loan covenants, reporting deadlines, required financialand operating submissions, and coordination with accounting and senior leadership.

• Use AppFolio for property management workflows, reporting, tenant and lease records, and operational oversight.

• Supervise building personnel, contractors and vendors; improve accountability, response times and preventive maintenance.

• Oversee building systems, repairs, inspections, regulatory compliance and capital maintenance needs.

• Review operating budgets, vendor contracts and property expenses

• Coordinate with the Director of Operations on leasing, tenant issues, major projects and portfolio priorities; report clearlyto senior leadership.

• Work from the Bronx management office and visit properties throughout the portfolio regularly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of relevant property management experience, preferably in New York City, including multifamily and multi-property operations.

• Strong knowledge of NYC rent stabilization, DHCR processes, residential leasing records and compliance requirements.

• Experience with commercial, flex industrial, warehouse or mixed-use properties a plus

• Experience with loan compliance and lender reporting, including financial reporting requirements and covenant monitoring.

• Ability to manage large building systems, on-site teams, contractors, budgets and complex tenant matters.

• Experience AppFolio property management software preferred
