About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance to provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of enterprise-wide food safety and quality strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality products, in alignment with the company's growth objectives. This executive will also be tasked with building and mentoring a high-performing food safety and quality organization, establishing performance metrics, and leading crisis management and risk mitigation efforts to protect consumers and brand reputation. Applicants for the Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in food safety and quality within manufacturing environments. The role requires a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, including FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, and GFSI standards, as well as a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide FSQA programs. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic leadership, risk assessment, and change management skills, and the ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
