Maintenance Technician
$20–$25/hour (DOE)
Location: Murrieta, CA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (some days end early at 1:30 PM), Friday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Saturday as needed (5:00 AM – 12:30 PM) - Temp to Hire Opportunity!
We’re seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician who has solid experience in a manufacturing setting and is ready to continue growing their skills. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and being part of a team that keeps operations running efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment such as CNC machines, press brakes, shears, forklifts, and overhead cranes
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document work in a CMMS system
- Address basic facility maintenance issues (lighting, plumbing, locks, irrigation)
- Support production by responding quickly to maintenance requests
- Safely operate tools and equipment including drills, saws, sanders, and hand tools
- Follow safety protocols and report any equipment concerns or risks
- Assist senior technicians and contribute to team projects
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and follow schematics or technical drawings
- Experience with hydraulic components (hoses, valves, cylinders) is a plus
- Comfortable using computers to track work orders (CMMS experience preferred)
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is helpful
- Welding or light fabrication experience is a plus, but not required
