Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description: The Emergency Department is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift assignment. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort through attentive treatment and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Assume responsibility for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and central line placement.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• PALS and TNCC or ENPC certifications required.
• Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility.
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
