General Manager (FT) - 5Church:

K5 Hospitality is seeking a talented General Manager to join our award-winning restaurant group. As a GM, you will lead and manage multi-faceted restaurant operations in partnership with the Head Chef to offer a world-class culinary experience and ensure concept vision and 5Church Restaurant standards are executed consistently. Demonstrate that employees are the highest priority, maintain a positive work environment, and develop the next generation of restaurant leaders. Take ownership of the multiple restaurants; ensure the restaurants operate efficiently and profitably. 

 

The General Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Building a capable and confident team and developing them to manage a great restaurant.
• Oversee and ensure all company systems and policies are maintained.
• Responsible for all controllable costs including labor, food, beverage, and supplies.
• Uphold company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members.
• Maintain all labor laws and practices.
• In charge of restaurant financials and responsible for efficient numbers.
• Assist in the execution of forecasting and budgeting.

Skills & Knowledge:

• The position requires a minimum of 4+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Requires developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Most tasks are performed independently or in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader.
• Ability to maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of upscale or fine dining service and sales skills.
• Ability to supervise, train, and motivate multiple levels of employees. Ability to consistently and fairly evaluate other employees’ performance.
• Extensive knowledge of the food industry, restaurants, and competitive markets.
• Extensive knowledge of revenue management. Participation in the development of short- and long-term financial and operational goals.
• Comfortable with using technology to streamline daily administrative tasks.
