Child Advocate

Employment Type: Full-Time (Up to 35 hours/week) Public Sector Solutions Group (PS2G) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Child Associates to support the Primary Project , an evidence-based early intervention program designed to strengthen the social and emotional well-being of young children. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with children, building meaningful relationships, and making a lasting impact in school communities. What You'll Do Work directly with children in Pre-K through 3rd Grade through non-directive play sessions. Build trusting, supportive relationships with referred students. Maintain a caseload of 20–30 students . Document services, maintain progress notes, and collect required program data. Collaborate with teachers, parents, guardians, school staff, and DBH clinicians. Attend required trainings, individual monitoring sessions, and weekly group meetings (virtual and/or in-person). Utilize Microsoft Office, email, and other technology to complete documentation and communication. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience working with children in a school or childcare setting. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to learn and successfully implement Primary Project play session techniques. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and basic computer applications. Additional Requirements Selected candidates must be able to: Pass required criminal background screening. Complete required alcohol and drug screening. Pass required program proficiency assessments. Lift approximately 10–20 lbs. Walk stairs as needed. Sign confidentiality and security agreements. Maintain a professional business‑casual appearance consistent with program guidelines.
