Assistant Pizza Chef

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Pizza Chef to join our hospitality team in Malta. The ideal candidate should have experience in pizza preparation, be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and maintain high food quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing pizza dough, sauces, and toppings
• Support the Pizza Chef in cooking and assembling pizzas
• Prepare ingredients and ensure proper food storage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station and kitchen area
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen or pizza section
• Good English communication skills required
• Valid Skills Pass Certificate mandatory
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
