Our work focuses on developing and producing camelina, an oilseed crop that supports the production of lower-carbon renewable fuels.We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Production Coordinator to join our Seed Operations team in Nampa, Idaho. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with production equipment, coordinating daily operations, solving problems, and helping a team succeed.If you have experience in manufacturing, agricultural processing, or production operations and take pride in safety, quality, and getting the job done right, we'd like to hear from you!The Production Coordinator plays an important role in keeping our seed treating and packaging operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position combines hands-on production work with daily operational coordination, spending approximately 50% of the time supporting production activities and 50% coordinating workflow, equipment readiness, and production priorities. Working closely with the Production Supervisor and production team, you'll help coordinate daily work assignments, monitor production progress, troubleshoot operational challenges, and ensure quality standards are consistently met. You'll also lead by example, promoting a positive work environment built on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Coordinate daily production activities, work assignments, equipment availability, and resources to meet production schedules and operational priorities.Actively participate in seed receiving, conditioning, treating, packaging, and other production activities as needed.Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment to support safe and efficient operations.Monitor production processes and product quality to ensure compliance with established procedures, specifications, and quality standards.Work closely with the Production Supervisor to identify and resolve production challenges, minimize downtime, and maintain productivity.Provide day-to-day task guidance and support to production employees, reinforcing safe work practices and operating procedures.Assist with onboarding and training new employees on production processes, equipment operation, and safety requirements.Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and reports.Identify and report safety hazards, equipment concerns, quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.Support equipment readiness, routine maintenance activities, and a clean, safe, and organized production environment.Collaborate with other departments and team members to support operational efficiency and meet customer requirements.Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.We're looking for someone who:Puts safety first and leads by example.Takes ownership of their work and follows through on commitments.Pays attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality products.Stays organized and effectively manages changing priorities.Solves problems and looks for opportunities to improve processes.Communicates openly and works well with others.Is adaptable and willing to jump in wherever needed.Supports the team by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and helping others succeed.This is an active, hands-on position in a seed production environment. The role involves working around production machinery, agricultural seed treatment products, dust, noise, and varying temperatures. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive movements. Employees must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds, using appropriate assistance or mechanical lifting equipment when necessary. Employees are required to follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
