Provide price quotes on all insurance products, factoring in underwriting rules and discounts. Take insurance payments (initial, installment, lapse, or reinstatement). Respond to customer inquiries, explaining product features and service advantages. Refer appropriate customers to agents when necessary. Recognize and promote cross‑sell opportunities during policy changes. Assist management and agents with sales processing activities. Conduct outbound promotional and retention calls as directed by management. Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction. Receive and resolve member/customer complaints, seeking assistance from management when needed. Participate in office events to generate insurance revenue and improve member awareness. Fulfill, maintain, and service insurance policies. Prepare insurance proposals, policy changes, transfers, and billing clarifications. Contact members regarding renewal of delinquent memberships and late premium payments. Verify new business applications and refer members to other lines of business. Process insurance and membership payments. Update electronic member information and maintain filing systems. Compensation Starting hourly wage of $22.96 - $25.50 per hour, based on experience. Required Qualifications A current Property & Casualty Insurance license. Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products. Successful completion of Customer Service, Insurance, and Membership training within 6 months of hire. Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Work Experience Provide a high level of customer-focused service. Service insurance policies and process applications, renewals, and amendments. Respond to billing and coverage questions. Process monetary transactions and take payments. Promote the sales of insurance products and services using established guidelines. Present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Knowledge and Skills Analyze member/potential customer insurance needs and determine appropriate coverage levels. Prepare appropriate rate quotations. Organize, plan, and promote the sale of ACG insurance and membership products. Perform outbound service calls. Maintain accurate records. Understand insurance terminology and general insurance regulations. Know underwriting procedures and sales regulatory and compliance guidelines. Familiarity with insurance systems (e.g., PPS, POS, IMS, IPM). Work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision. Exceed member expectations regarding professionalism and customer service. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Communicate clearly and concisely in the workplace and with the public. Accurately perform and maintain monetary calculations. Work well under pressure in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. Successfully complete training related to all ACG products and services. Work Environment Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. 40 hours per week with a scheduled lunch hour each day. 100% in‑office position at an ACG branch facility.
