Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedure, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
• RDCS certification with active AHA BLS
• Competency in adult echocardiography including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, effusions, 2D & 3D TEEs, and hypertensive heart disease studies

Assignment Details

• 40-hour shift work
• Call when appropriate
• Floating to other departments may be required
