Quick Facts: Location: Coos Bay, OR Start Date: Flexible, upon approval Duration: Open until filled Shift: 8-hour days; 1:4 call (primarily critical lab calls) Hours/week: Full-time or Part-time (48-80 hours per pay period) Employment Type: Permanent or locum-to-perm Licenses/Certs: Board Certified or Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, BLS, Board Certification required within 2 years Experience: Recent graduates welcome; preferred experience in outpatient oncology/hematology Pay & Benefits: Compensation: $680,000+ annually (full-time), commensurate with experience Per Diem: Not specified Additional Benefits: Sign-on bonus (discussed at interview), relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits package including 6% match, generous PTO, CME allowance, licensing and professional fee coverage, onsite health and wellness services, onsite childcare, high-caliber nurse infusion team, and collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University. What You’ll Do: Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care within a leading cancer center Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer treatments Participate in clinical trials and cutting-edge research Collaborate with onsite radiation oncology and pharmacy teams Manage a patient load of approximately 10-15 patients daily Contribute to a supportive, family-friendly community environment Support patient education and preventive care initiatives What You Need: Board Certified or Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology BLS Certification Ability to obtain licensure in Oregon Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Recent graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply About the Assignment: Join a dedicated team at a state-of-the-art cancer center affiliated with Oregon Health & Science University.
