Job Description The Site Human Resources Supervisor provides on-site Human Resources support for a construction project and serves as a key partner to project leadership and employees. This position is responsible for supporting employee relations, workforce planning, staffing initiatives, onboarding, performance management, policy interpretation, compliance, employee engagement, and other Human Resources activities in support of project objectives. Location Requirement: This position will be located in Piketon, Ohio. This is not a remote or hybrid role, this role is expected to work onsite at the project location on a daily basis. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to build effective working relationships while supporting a positive employee experience and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Key Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide day-to-day Human Resources support to project leadership and employees Partner with site management on employee relations, workforce planning, and staffing needs Interpret and apply Human Resources policies, procedures, and employment practices Conduct employee investigations and assist with resolution of workplace concerns Support performance management, coaching, and corrective action processes Coordinate onboarding and employee orientation activities Promote employee engagement and support employee communication initiatives Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and project requirements Maintain employee records and Human Resources documentation Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and other functional teams as needed Prepare reports and analyze Human Resources data and trends Supervise and provide guidance to site Human Resources personnel, as applicable Perform other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Minimum ten (10) years of Human Resources experience, including experience supporting site-based, field, project, construction, industrial, or related operations Experience supporting employee relations, investigations, performance management, and policy interpretation Working knowledge of employment laws and Human Resources practices Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Other Job Requirements Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to providing high-quality customer service Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across functional teams Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Previous experience supporting large construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or EPC projects Experience in a site-based Human Resources role SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification Experience supporting craft and non-manual workforces Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and reporting tools Knowledge of workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement programs We are an equal opportunity employer.
