Travel Ultrasound Tech - HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Full-time, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Job Description

The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. As a key member of the healthcare team, the Ultrasound Tech will work collaboratively with physicians and other staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal and pelvic ultrasound exams.
• Assess patient conditions pre- and post-procedure.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patient information and exam results in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months of current Sonographer experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification.
• Active Colorado state license.
